- Demonstration project
- Timeline
- June 2023 (1 day)
- Tools
- Articulate Rise, Adobe Illustrator, Canva

Context
This is a demonstration module. I adapted an Articulate Rise template into a microlearning lesson on spam email awareness: the types of spam, how they work, and how to prevent them. It is designed as a short, digestible asset for a Moodle LMS.
The intended learners are students and employees who use email every day and need a foundation in digital safety.
Problem
Email-safety guidance can become text-heavy and difficult to scan. This demonstration explored how the topic could be reorganized as a short, mobile-accessible learning resource.
My role
I adapted the Rise template, structured the content, created supporting visual assets, and prepared the output for SCORM deployment.
Approach
- Researched common spam email types and real-life examples.
- Wrote a storyboard with concise explanations and visual illustrations.
- Built the lesson in Articulate Rise with navigation, visuals, and layered explanations.
- Tested it for clarity, loading speed, and LMS compatibility.
Deliverables
- A browser-based Articulate Rise demonstration.
- Concise learning content covering spam types, risks, and prevention.
- A mobile-accessible SCORM package prepared for Moodle.
Outcome
This module was not evaluated with a live learner cohort, so these are targets, not measured results:
- Learning target: learners can recognize at least three spam types in a post-assessment configured in the LMS.
- Experience target: a clear module that can be completed in seven minutes or less.
- Deliverable: a mobile-accessible SCORM package ready for Moodle deployment.
